TIGER MEDIA LEARNING CENTER
PRESIDENT WILLIAM McKINLEY HIGH SCHOOL
Tiger Media Learning Center immerses their students in the creative media pathway, bridging academics to the Graphic Design and Video Production industries. TMLC promotes a workplace readiness culture with expectations that our students have a willingness to learn, take initiative, and express creativity, while managing their time effectively and efficiently.
Students are given the opportunity to learn from industry workers and are held to industry standards through community print and video jobs. In addition, students are exposed to the next steps after high school should they decide to pursue the Creative Media industry through college visits, industry visits, and guest speakers.
Learning Centers have been designed to expand educational opportunities for students with special talents and interests, provide public school parents with new choices on the kinds and quality of education they want for their children, and serve as models of educational excellence in the community. Learning Centers can stimulate and bring together students, parents, staff, and principals around a common theme.
